Some seats will bias more towards looks, others towards comfort. Whatever your preference may be, at Mustang the very best comes as standard in all seats.
Quality is found all around and inside of each and every Mustang seat. All are made to do your Harley justice, comparing the OEM factory seat to a Mustang is not even possible.
Mustang come with a super rigid 3/16" thick marine-grade gel coat finished fibreglass base.
Every Mustang is designed to lift your riding experience to a new level, the manufacturing and component quality will continue to offer the same riding experience for years to come.
Controlled density polyurethane foam is of importance to provide all-day comfort. A very soft seat will not do well.
Mustangs are designed to give 30% compression and 70% high density, for the required firmness and ability to soak up large bumps.
They are known for retaining their shape and give good support, even after years of use. The exact shape, angle and density of each seat is scientifically formulated, cast to be soft enough for comfort but resilient enough to stand up to even 'thousand mile' days.
Many seats are made for a trip around the corner, Mustang seats are designed for cross-country travel and beyond.
Cover material is made from the highest quality expanded vinyl available. Durability, resistance to the elements and finish are way higher than OEM factory material. The vinyl is riveted, not stapled like OEM.
Seams are sewn twice for lasting strength. mustang Regal style seats do not lose their buttons, they are double tied with four cords instead of two.
Specifically engineered to provide uncompromising comfort. The solo is made in such a way that the rider can sit back, comfortably, in the seat bucket.
There it provides ample support for the lower back. For even better support the solo with adjustable backrest can't be beat.
Both are compatible with the below mentioned passenger seat, which is optionally available. Solo seats install cleanly in combination with the standard luggage rack.

NOTE: Mustang solo seats & passenger seats cannot be mixed with OEM solo or passenger seats.
NOTE: Solo seats with a rider backrest require a recessed passenger seat, the recessed section provides the necessary space for the rider backrest.
NOTE: Solo seat backrests are easily removable
