The Low Rider was all the rage when it came out, even with the slightly underpowered carbureted Panhead engine spinning the back wheel. Add power and torque with aftermarket air filters and replacement carb kits to push more cleansed and cooled air in for combustion, or increase displacement from the stock 1340ccs (or 82-ci) to big bore kits for more low-end torque and better pulling from a standstill. Add a new exhaust, update the electrics, and consider new seats and suspension setups to negotiate bad roads.
