A hard-revving (9000 redline) Harley with more power than your regular hog? What's not to like in the 1200XR. The bigger air box, downdraft fuel injection and performance factory exhaust give you a lot of leeway to tune those 1200ccs even more. Replace clogged air cleaners, add high-flow injectors, do a dyno tune, throw in a high-performance clutch kit with extra plates, snap up new tappets and pushrod kits, and tighten pipes with flange and retainer kits to reduce vibrations. Of course, look to better handling, with heavy-duty piggyback shocks, go with softer seats or add rear racks if considering bigger bags
